    Deck: Inkromancy 4: Kickass!

    Eight of Swords Rv:

You are breaking out of self-imposed restrictions. You are no longer obeying the limits that were expected of you. You are expanding your reach and stretching your goals. Little by little you are shedding the bindings that hold you in. You may feel vulnerable or exposed doing this, but you will soon get used to your new freedom.

    Seven of Swords:

Now that you have shed the bindings, you are living by your own wit and cunning. You are making your own rules in the middle of the game. Other people might be calling foul or feeling slighted as a result, but self-actualization usually causes ripple effects through your relationships.

    Four of Wands Rv:

As a result, things at home are a bit unstable. Maybe you are between jobs, or people don’t know where they stand in their relationship with you given how you’re changing. It’s not the welcome party you were expecting, but it is important to re-engage with your friends and family to help them get comfortable with how you’re doing life now.

    Death:

But make no mistake, life as you knew it is gone. You may be feeling a sense of loss and mourning what you had before because while you were restricted, there was comfort in that role. You knew your part and how to play. Now you are negotiating life on completely different terms, which is scary. The old you only exists as the fertile soil supporting your new growth and transformation!

  • Inkromancy 4: Kickass Test Drive

    Ace of Pentacles:

New opportunity to show your talents! Aces are beginnings, and pentacles represent the material world of work, coin, and day to day practicality. You are grounded, you are prepared, and you are ready!

    4 of Swords Rv:

Don’t snooze on your secret weapon. You are holding something back that you haven’t yet mastered or you think might be irrelevant to the opportunity at hand. But this extra talent is what sets you apart!

    Eight of Cups:

Walk away *with joy*! Something in your life is broken or dysfunctional and you are ready to let it go. But this isn’t a source of despair; in fact, you will feel lighter and freer. Embrace the new opportunity in the Ace of Pentacles with your whole heart!

    Deck: Vintage Tattoo Tarot

    Justice Rv:

You have a strong sense of right and wrong, despite the social trends around you. It’s never wrong to treat others with dignity and expect the same for yourself. Wrongdoing owes accountability regardless of wealth. Follow your own moral compass and you will find things eventually come out as they should.

    The Hierophant:

It is time to return to the basics. The Hierophant is emblematic of figures like priests and professors. They follow a straight path with rules and regulations. Maybe this card is bringing you spiritual guidance, or conventional wisdom. Either way, it is asking you to stick with the tried and true for the moment.

    Six of Swords:

You are having a breakthrough. The traditional Pamela Coleman Smith illustration of this card is someone sailing from rough waters and entering safe harbor, but with a look of defeat. This artists version has blood-tipped swords rising out of the sea and piercing the clouds to let in the sun. It is the same with you. This is a moment of tough love from the universe. You are safe now and you can make space to rebuild what was lost with even more wisdom, especially with the influence of your inner Justice compass and The Hierophant guiding you.

    The Moon Rv:

This card is evoking a sense of loneliness and repressed emotion. You are out of touch with your intuition and disconnected from your friends and/or family. You got your wires crossed recently and got a zap from it. You need to repair your relationship with yourself and how you relate with the world. Your intuition will rebound as you take the steps toward more conventional stability. Once you are on firm footing again you will find your gut feelings are reliable.

Deck: Whispering Spirits by Joanna Nelson

    The Chariot:

You are a natural leader and adept at accomplishing what you set out to do. You have the ambition, the vision, and the willpower to get your vision in motion and keep it on track until you succeed. Your abilities have allowed you to build a solid life, and no matter the hardships you faced, you always get going again.

    Two of Swords:

Right now you might be caught in the middle of some kind of battle of equals. I am getting a sense it’s between two equally strong people, both with legitimate perspective and they have somehow positioned you as some kind of tie-breaker or deal maker. To top it off, you were not provided all the pertinent information up front, making this an even more difficult stance.

    Nine of Pentacles:

As indicated by The Chariot, you have many achievements under your belt, a good relationship with money, and make wise decisions concerning the issue at the heart of the Two of Swords situation. This is why these two parties have gravitated toward you. You earned your skills and abundance honestly, but these two swords are only seeing the *result, not the *process.

    Knight of Swords Rv:

You either feel like you are being pushed or rushed in this scenario, or perhaps you are coming in hot with directives and advice they didn’t ask for (but probably need). They may perceive you as bossy while you think you’re swooping in to help them. Slow things down, show them it’s not as simple as they think, and be patient. On the other hand, do not let them muddle your thinking: if they see you as the expert, they need to be open to learning something new!

    Deck: Trionfi Della Luna

    Happy May Day everyone!

    Page of Wands:

You are guided by your passions and this card reflects all the potential you have within you. You can do or have anything you set your mind to, but at the moment you are caught up exploring and sampling many different things so you have not yet settled on THE ONE pursuit.

    Two of Wands Rv:

Because you are still getting your focus, you have not set down any definite plans so do not expect to get very far until you do so. Start looking at how all the options align with your highest good. You might start dwelling on your fears of what might happen or might not happen, but set that aside as much as you can.

    The Hermit:

THIS is the card showing you how to accomplish the advice of Two of Wands Rv. Alone time is key here. Take a break from all the noise and get in touch with your higher self. Don’t go around asking for advice because other people have their own motives behind what counsel they give you. Keep to yourself as you evaluate what you really love and how it will help you fully develop.

    Eight of Wands:

This card is becoming a stalker! This time around it is here to remind you that everything will still be here when you return from your mini sabbatical of Hermit time. Everything will churn on without you, and if it’s truly important, they know how to find you. For now, block your calendar and give yourself permission to do a deep dive on what is calling to your soul!

    Deck: The Craft Felt Tarot

    Strength:

People mistake your kindness and gentleness as weakness, but they are truly strengths. You get better results with honey than with vinegar. Stay true to your guiding principals when dealing with difficult situations or people and they will soon fall under your spell of safety and comfort.

    Knight of Pentacles Rv:

Your hard work and discipline is verging on caging you into a dull routine. If you’re not already treading the same path over and over, you will be if you keep holding yourself to such a crazy high standard. No one expects you to be perfect. It is enough that you are consistent and dependable when it really counts. Ease off the spurs!

    Four of Swords:

You will sleep comfortably knowing that your gentle strength is a valuable protection. Other people guard your name and reputation because of the way you make them feel. They don’t mind if you sometimes make a mistake, they know how much pressure you are under. The people you choose to surround yourself with all want the best for you and will be there when you need them.

    The World:

You have been shaped by your joys and hardships. Instead of turning your heart to stone, life has made you more open to experience and honed your empathy. You are the culmination of all your experiences and influences and you are ever-evolving! Harken back to the previous cards to see how you got here, and know you’re exactly where you need to be in this moment.

    Deck: Northern Animal Tarot

    Queen of Swords:

You embody the strengths of this brilliant and free-thinking queen! You are the matriarchal or egalitarian leader that cultivates talent in others and loudly celebrates their growth and accomplishments. You know how to get things done and are not above using flirtation to get your way, which, ultimately, is the correct way for everyone involved.

    Wheel of Fortune Rv:

Things have been rocky, and this card suggests a reversal of *bad fortune. You will experience a turn of good luck and you will see things improve over time. Even though you will not see changes immediately, this good turn will last a while.

    Six of Wands Rv:

Your coming good fortune will bring a big personal victory. There will be no cheering crowds, no accolades, but this is definitely a major deal for *you*. Celebrate yourself accordingly, and remember there is more good to come!

    Five of Swords Rv:

Whoever your opps are, your Queen of Swords influence has neutralized them. I see this as a continuation from last week where you walked away from the pointless, energy-sucking fighting and left them to their own devices. They now regret their win-at-any-cost actions and are now feeling ashamed of themselves. They are not openly apologetic, but are withdrawing from the destruction they cheered and are quietly trying to rectify the damage.

  • I Am Officially (Self) Published!

Hi friends! I am so excited to tell you that I designed, wrote, and self-published a tarot journal for goal setting and tracking, a.k.a. ✨MANIFESTING✨ for those of you who are magically minded!

I drew on the goal achievement practices I learned in structured corporate environments and then adapted to my wildly inconsistent artistic process to create a journal that will keep us free spirits on task without getting bored and frustrated.

I am particularly proud of the design and layout of the journal pages because it mirrors how a lot of our brains work. There is a good balance of planned space with activities and free space to express yourself and organize your thoughts without all the visual clutter I see in a lot of modern tarot journals.

I used Amazon Kindle KDP to create a bound paperback workbook that contains a complete month of manifesting exercises. You can check that out here: Mystic Pull Tarot Manifestation Journal.

I also published a printable PDF version on the Mystic Pull Tarot Etsy shop, which is infinitely customizable! It includes all the daily, weekly, and monthly exercises, which are designed flow in any combination.

So go check ‘em out and drop any questions or feedback below!

Deck: Pastel Prism Tarot (I cannot leave this deck alone, I am obsessed!)

    Eight of Wands:

We had this same card in the first position on 3.20 when things were chaotic and you were having difficulty keeping up. Things are still wild, but the addition of Seven of Wands Rv changes the story.

    Seven of Wands Rv:

You can see this through the classic RWS lens as defeat and surrender, but this is feeling to me more like *outmaneuvering. You have stopped defending yourself and trying to fight a system designed to keep you in chaos. You are choosing peace and rest. Let them think they won, but you’re moving on. They’ll figure it out eventually.

    The Fool:

The Fool is the reason why I am interpreting the Seven Wands Rv the way I am. The Fool has this gift of shrugging off expectation and trusting the universe will provide. You stepped away from the battle to pursue something that gives you life. Trust yourself, trust the path, trust that you will receive everything you need.

    Ten of Swords:

This is how the battle ends. The “enemy” just wants to fight and will end up turning on each other and finally their own selves. You don’t win, but ultimately neither do they. They don’t know it yet, but they will become their own downfall.

  • Weekend Tarot Forecast 4.3.26

    Deck: Pastel Prism Tarot

Ugh – this one made me cry.

    The Tower:

Your world was turned upside down and you are having to roll with major adjustments! When we see The Tower feature so prominently in a reading, it’s like busting down the door. This is a major life upheaval that is likely impacting your health, work, relationships, and finances. Do your best to flex with the changes—bend, don’t break.

    Justice:

You are looking for the fairness in all of it but there really isn’t any. Things just got wildly out of balance and no clear fault can be drawn; The Tower is the blowback. You will restore balance, but be ready for a lot of complexity and obstacles.

    Two of Swords Rv:

You have evaluated all the options available to you at present. They all pretty much suck to the same degree so you’re on “pause”. But remember that not deciding is still a decision. Don’t wait too long for a better option; just take the first steps of the least shit option to get some momentum.

    Five of Swords Rv:

This is the card of setting things right. You will begin to make small steps toward regaining your balance and restoring order in your life. You may still struggle with unmanageability, and other impacts may continue to come from the Justice influence, but you will do your best. You can’t put Humpty Dumpty back together, but you can transform the pieces into something new.
