Deck: Pastel Prism Tarot

OMG I am so in love with this new deck!!

Eight of Wands:

There’s a flurry of activity around you, and changes are being made faster than you can keep up with. Some of the changes are great, and some are negative. As per usual, the world is in a state of chaos and passions are flying in every direction. Focus your energy on your intention.

Nine of Cups:

Remember, you helped manifest the positive changes you are seeing! Give yourself permission to do a little happy dance, even while things are still turbulent. Seize the moments of joy and keep it up.

Death Rv:

You still have fears about all these changes, and whether things will ultimately turn out alright. You can’t unscramble an egg no matter how hard you try. Allow the inevitable ebb and flow of action-reaction and behaviors-consequences. Keep contributing toward the ultimate good and trust the process even when it sucks so hard!

Six of Swords Rv:

This card suggests the urge to bury your head in the sand or run away from your fears. I know it’s trite to say it, but “do it scared” is the best approach. The only thing you have to lose is the illusion that you can put things back the way they were. It’s time to envision what *can be if you fight for it.

The reason I use so many different decks (besides being obsessed with all the different art and interpretations) is that you with how many of the same cards come up repeatedly you’d think I never shuffle lol!

Justice:

This card jumped out as I was shuffling and seems to be waving me down to say LOOK WHAT WE WON THIS WEEK! You have to look past a lot of bad news to see them, but the small wins continue to roll on! 

Ten of Pentacles:
You are having a period of material security and abundance. I love how this card depicts it as protective: you’re behind the wall with guards at the door. Your stability is secure.

Four of Pentacles Rv:

You got here by developing the habit of gathering and guarding your money or valuable material goods, and you did great. You may find yourself with an opportunity to loosen your grip just a bit to meet some other needs. Maybe you need night out, but it’s more likely you need to put some cash into home improvements or car repairs you’ve been putting off. You will see that stack shrink a little, but you will make it back!

Six of Cups Rv:

Life seems to recycle scenarios and personalities until we are really ready to deal with them. Something from your past could come up for you this week that will present another opportunity to grow emotionally or spiritually. It may trigger your inner child, so take a pause and explore what the deep need is and how to fulfill it in a mature way.

Knight of Cups Rv:

This has been an emotional week! Ups and downs, crazy things careening left and right! The dramatics were on full display on every news station and social platform. If you’re feeling paralyzed, sensitive, reactive, it absolutely makes sense. Check your expectations of yourself and others to keep from overreacting to things out of your control.

Ace of Cups Rv:

That Knight of Cups Rv also knocked over your personal cup! This feels more like a stopping point than an opportunity. There’s that story of filling someone’s cup, but the thing lacking from that story is how to fill your own cup so you have something to give. This is a call to fill up your cup! Literally hydrate of course, but do something emotionally enriching – take in some outside inspiration from art, film, etc.

The Emperor:

Given the present circumstances and context from the other cards, I think this Emperor is aspirational. Emulate the divine masculine energy: stable, logical, responsible. Apply reasonableness to situations that stress you out. Draw on this archetype for inspiration when you feel impatient. Take the lead and influence others to keep calm and carry on when the situation warrants it.

Five of Swords:

If you do decide to fight it out, you will find it an empty victory. You might be able to prove you’re right, but you could lose out in other ways. The other interpretation that strikes me is this card may be reflecting our present reality in global conflict, as everyone can plainly see every one is a no-win situation. Either way, it might be weighing you down this week, so circle back to your Ace of Cups and The Emperor to guide you.

Justice:

Justice is at hand! There are currently innumerable injustices requiring intervention so it might not feel like much of a win, but keep it in perspective. This is the beginning of the backlash, momentum is building, more and more cracks are forming in their protections. Every pedo charged, every ruling that upholds the constitution, every prosecution of a crime against regular people trying to do right is a win.

Ten of Swords:

This is a scary time to be a victimizer, a predator, a liar, and/or a thief. The thousand little bee stings of justice are adding up and finally making an impact. Mark my words: this *will hurt them. I don’t expect every crime to be punished, but enough to make real changes. This weekend is where it starts in earnest. They feel the walls closing in.

Nine of Cups:

Embrace the satisfaction of the Justice moments because they may be fleeting or sporadic. Keep looking for wins and give them a spotlight. Hold them up as testament to the changes being made by small groups of people. There is always more to be done, but celebrate every little stinger inflicted!

King of Cups Rv:

You are again confronted with the King of Cups Rv. This is not a holdover from last week; this is large scale tantrum action! More conflict emerging on the world stage as a direct consequence of petty, immature, and vindictive leadership. Brace yourself. Protect your peace. Find your Nine Cups and fill them with gratitude to sustain you through another episode of flooding the zone.

Two of Wands:

You’re ready for some excitement in your life! You have been feeling restless and daydreaming of some kind of next adventure. Now is the time for planning and mapping out the journey, whether it’s literal travel or other change of scenery. Make the lists, estimate costs vs benefits, research the destination, anticipate obstacles, compile mood boards, get as creative as you want! 

King of Cups Rv:

The normally composed and mature King of Cups is in reverse, so there may be an emotional eruption related to the planning. This is a blip that will pass quickly. Be ready for it, but don’t let it disrupt your Two of Wands activities!

Ten of Cups:

Harmony will be restored and you can enjoy some homey bliss, a great environment to relax and encourage your imagination and planning. Surround yourself with your favorite people and just enjoy their company. It doesn’t have to be a huge effort to “host” something. Just clean the bathroom and buy some snacks, it’s all chill. 

Three of Cups Rv:

This weekend might tax your emotional batteries, so recharge with some alone time where needed. Maybe the Rv King of Cups kind of brought you down, or you overdid it with the family time and feel hungover. Balance isn’t always keeping an even keel; sometimes it’s about the ups and downs and recovering afterward. Cest la vie!

You are creating your own momentum, and people will want to pull you in different directions. Buckle up and set your direction so you don’t end up off course and waste this valuable energy. Ready, set, GO!

Six of Wands:

As you speed along, people will start to notice your progress. Some will cheer from the sidelines, while others might pout and hope your Chariot throws you. Keep your eyes on the prize, accept help from those who truly back you, and beware of obstacles.

Nine of Coins (Pentacles):

You’ve been putting in the work, got your momentum cruising, you got some recognition for your efforts, and NOW—finally—you can enjoy the benefits. Maybe you got a raise, paid off a big debt, got your taxes back, whatever it is, live a little! Quick story time: my grandma Lila would be filled with dread whenever things were going well because she was “waiting for the other shoe to drop,” and ruin everything. Don’t be like Lila! Yes, life is up and down, but you deserve to enjoy the good things when they come!

The Moon:

Above all, trust your intuition. No one knows what’s around the corner, under the surface, or lurking in the shadows. All you can do is feel your way through and respond to what pops up. This weekend has Friday the 13th and a dark moon, what Lila would consider very bad luck. But you make your own luck!

The Moon Rv:

You are holding in your feelings and not sharing what your intuition is telling you. There’s a small nagging voice harkening to you from within but you’re not ready to let it surface to your conscious mind. You have a lot going on emotionally that needs to be acknowledged and worked through before you can tune in to your intuition again.

The Empress:

Embrace your femininity. Nurture those around you, express your empathy, and connect with nature however you can. Be gentle and mothering to yourself, especially in relation to The Moon Rv. Everyone gets overloaded, including you. Whatever grace and support you’re giving to friends and family, be sure to give yourself the same.

Queen of Swords Rv:

This is the queen bitch! It’s kind of the worst case scenario if you ignore The Empress and the repressed emotions of The Moon Rv. You may become irritable, snap at people, or cut them off entirely. If this is where you find yourself at the moment, take a beat and see what feelings you might have stuffed into the back of your mental closet.

Justice:

Be prepared for your actions to be met with reactions. If your emotions are spilling out sideways, others won’t understand what prompted your words or behavior and could mirror it back to you, increasing conflict. On the other hand, your kindness will be met with kindness and strengthen your bonds. Try the best you can to stay connected!

Eight of Coins Rv:

Once the immediate crisis has abated, you might feel like everyone is putting their energy into less important efforts and that the masses are less cohesive. Instead of being disheartened, be understanding that everyone is going to come away from this with a different experience and perspective on what needs fixing or changing. Think of it more as specialization rather than dissolution. The one big goal remains the same, but there are many avenues to pursue.

This card is to remind you that you are fucking magical! You are doing everything you can to manifest the life and the world you want, and that energy is *not* wasted! Keep visualizing, planning, take action daily, and keep your mind and heart open for guidance.

Five of Pentacles Rv:

While the world is very cold and dark right now, tarot keeps insisting that hope is not lost. You have enough and you are enough to get through this. People are rightfully guarded at this moment, and it seems like all the doors are closed, but connecting with others is key! Proceed with caution!

Justice:

You will see justice and balance restored, though not necessarily when and how you want it. The machinery of justice turns slowly, and many things will go unaccounted for. That doesn’t mean you should sit patiently and wait. Keep a record and hold up the truth to force accountability.
